Travelling with your dog?
Not every cellar door or restaurant in Coonawarra welcomes dogs, so we plan around it. If you're bringing your furry friend, we choose wineries that welcome pets and offer lunch options that suit everyone, such as a produce or cheese platter or a barbecue on a winery lawn. Your day in Coonawarra

• Pickup: Free pickup from your accommodation in Naracoorte, Penola or Coonawarra.
• Morning: Begin with your first cellar door visit and a tasting of Coonawarra's famous Cabernet Sauvignon and other fine wines.
• Mid-morning: Visit a second cellar door, chosen to suit your group.
• Lunch: Choose a cheese or produce platter at a cellar door, a BBQ on the lawns, or a restaurant lunch at Hollick Upstairs or Ottelia in Coonawarra.
• Afternoon: Visit two or three more cellar doors, with time to relax, enjoy the vineyard views, and take your time.
• Photo stop: Coonawarra Railway Siding, a well-known local landmark.
• Return: A relaxed drive back to your accommodation.

Opening and closing hours differ between cellar doors, so we create your itinerary around your group's favourite choices and times. 

Extras not included in the tour price

Wine tasting fees and food are extras and are not included in the overall cost. Wine flights range from $5 to $15 per person and are often redeemable with a bottle purchase.
